I of course, loved Land of the Lost when growing up in the 70's, and I still love it today. Of course I had a crush on Holly, and my sister had a crush on Will, but we both respected the perfect Saturday morning adventure dad, played perfectly by Spencer Milligan. I always wondered what happened to him after he left the show, as I don't recall seeing him in anything past season 2 of LOTL. Thanks Dave, for filling in the blank on that. Really cool to hear that Wesley, Kathy and Phil went out to visit him. Extra props to Spencer, for standing up for himself financially, and then for leaving Hollywood behind to go live a real life. Sounds like he had a great run!

After rewatching season three, it actually had some good episodes, some poor episodes, but by the end you wanted it to continue and I felt a little sad that it didn't.

Spencer spent a lot of time in Door County, WI and hung out at a local supper club called Schartner's on the Shore quite often. He was, of course, a local celebrity and colorful character. I enjoyed meeting him. Thanks Dave, for this nice tribute.

Donny and the osmonds cartoon show on Saturday mornings was my childhood, one bad apple.. So glad to hear donny turned the crowd.

Martin Landau had the "spock look", especially his eyes. They also had similar slim builds a la the 1960's. Landau would have been a great Spock character, but, we are so used to Nimoy as Spock.

Certainly never was and never will be my type of music,but my wife and sister in law just went to see Donnie in West Virginia last week and they LOVED it! To quote my wife "for as old as he is,he still got it!" Go figure.😅

Larry Linville was excellent in his role as Major Frank Burns. I believe that Linville made the right decision by leaving when he did. The show was becoming more dramatic and Frank Burns still being there would've made it awkward. Major Charles Winchester was the right call as far as where MASH was going.

Tina louise actually was a movie star in real life before gilligan's island.😮 Her resume is a bunch of dramatic, serious roles. Comedy was not something that she ever did really..(And for good reason, she wasn't funny.) I put money on Mary Ann to win "best celebrity " contest 😊 She spent the rest of her life pretending to be Mary Ann,( Even when Dawn wasn't working,) she was Volunteering for a Charity group in a village With no Connection to the modern world. They didn't have electricity or clean water, but upon seeing the group a native woman started pointing excitedly at Dawn and then she grabbed her in a bear hug with tears streaming down her face, She just kept repeating "You are Mary Ann" The girl had worked as a maid at a hotel on a different part of the island chain, and had seen dozens of reruns of Gilligan's island while she worked there. So a year later these volunteers walk into their village, And one of them just happens to be Mary Ann.. Dawn Wells was very gracious and understanding Of this new fan, talking with her, Giving her a hug and an autograph. Dawn was stunned that she was recognized at a primitive Village in the middle of nowhere. 😊
